Boys boys


A lot of people are hesitant to enter into relationships because of the many stereotypical assumptions being tossed about all over social media. People think that most women are gold diggers only interested in draining guys financially while guys on the other hand have been grouped under the umbrella ‘All men are trash’ who only seek sexual gratification from women. I have written extensively on how women can rise above this stereotype and become independent women so now let me address the other gender. 

One of the crimes men have been accused of is destroying good relationships because of our promiscuity. Although some guys take pride in having multiple partners and intentionally opt for this, some guys too end up cheating due to momentary weakness. Explicitly speaking, it all comes down to sex. There is a popular saying ‘body no be firewood’. This is true because unlike firewood the body has a brain capable of thinking through ideas to make sensible decisions. Some guys use this as an excuse to have affairs and reduce somebody’s daughter to a sex object. Did you know the average male orgasm lasts for only 15 to 30 seconds? If you don’t believe you can check for yourself. Do not exchange the possibility of a lifetime of happiness with the right partner for 30 seconds of pleasure and the risk of STD’s and unwanted pregnancies. 

Another accusation leveled against men is that they are not serious in relationships and suffer from commitment phobia. A lot of women complain that they cannot find men who are ready to put in the work and eventually get married. It is not by force to get married so do not let anyone pressure you to do more than you are ready to. If you want to have fun then go ahead. There is only one condition, tell her. Before you get far in the relationship, in fact right at the starting line, make sure you tell her what you are looking for so that she knows what she is getting into

The last charge leveled against us that I will discuss is the unpardonable crime of being close-fisted. Some profligate women complain that a lot of men are stingy and do not financially support them. 

Fellow men, unless you are their father or husband I officially declare you ‘not guilty’. My good men do not let anyone harass you into using your hard earned money to buy shoes or wig. I am not opposed to giving gifts to your partner, I encourage it. On the other hand if you are not so financially sound please do not yield to the cries of any woman and waste your hard earned money. If she threatens to leave you let her go. You are not an ATM. If she really loves you then she will respect your hustle and support you. Too many gentlemen have used unnecessary illegal means just to support the extravagant lifestyles of their partners. The earlier you leave such a person the better.

Fellow gentlemen, I want to believe that this short piece will be an eye opener that will propel you to the next level of manliness and shift your focus to becoming the best version of yourself that will make your partner very happy. Men are not trash. As for the controversial issue of rape, lets save that for another day.
